MISSION WORK
Several mission trips are being planned for next year. If you feel called to this type of service or you would like information about it, please call the contact person or the church office.
REACHING BEYOND OUR WALLS Has God placed a desire on your heart to share His love with those outside of our congregation? We would love to hear about your ideas and dreams for carrying the Good News into the world.
Below are a few of St. Tim’s outreach ministries. If you are interested in serving on any of these teams, please let us know by checking the appropriate box on the green insert in your worship folder. If you believe God is calling you to a new outreach ministry, please let us know that too.
You can expect a response from a team leader or staff member within two weeks of when you indicate your interest. If you do not hear from us, please call the church office.
· Pieces to Peace This ministry provides hope, compassion, and healing to those affected by trauma and/or abuse. Teams serve in a variety of ways to provide resources to Leath Women’s Correctional Institute and Bridge to Home as well as to offer small group Biblically-based healing in our community.
If you desire to participate in a Pieces to Peace group as a part of your personal inner healing, we want to respect your privacy – so please contact our pastor by phone 843-553-4175 or e-mail.

· Mission Trip – Almost Heaven Habitat June 10-16, 2012 We are building our team for next year’s Almost Heaven Habitat 2012 where we will serve the people of Pendleton County, West Virginia – one of our country’s most impoverished counties.
This intergenerational mission trip begins on June 10th and ends on June 16th. No one is too old and no one is too young to participate! Every gift is needed – whether it be a skill, an attitude, a financial donation, a passion, or a desire.
Total cost of this week-long trip is $300 per person, which includes program fees, travel, lodging, and on-site meals (Monday through Saturday morning). Meals eaten off-site and free-time activities are not included.
If you would like to help, but do not want to attend, please consider a financial gift to help offset the cost for a family or individual who feels God’s call to attend. If you would like to attend, but feel the financial burden is too great, please contact one of our pastors about scholarship availability.
We are returning to Almost Heaven – June 10-16, 2012. Listen closely. God may be calling you to join the team. Space is limited to 20 people. Call the church office if you want to register now (a $50 deposit is required to hold your place).
