Now
there is a convenient, consistent way to help St. Timothy's ministry through
your financial gifts. The Giving Thanks program is an opportunity to provide your offering to St. Timothy in a simple, safe and practical way. Through electronic funds transfer, you can be assured St. Timothy receives your contribution on a steady, uninterrupted basis. Convenience for you. Church offerings typically decline during summer months. At other times, vacations, business travel or illness may keep you from attending services, too. It's easy to forget to make up those missed offerings at a later time. But, with the Giving Thanks program, you can feel confident that whenever you are unable to attend church services, your congregation will still receive your offering. Also, when you are able to attend services, you won't have to worry about forgetting your checkbook or offering money. And, if you're a
parent of a Lutheran elementary or high school student, you also can use
this opportunity to make monthly tuition payments to participating schools.
No more forgotten or late payments.
Your offerings are
transferred electronically from your bank or credit union savings or
checking account. The money is deposited directly into St. Timothy's
account. As a result, your contributions cannot be lost, stolen or
forgotten. You specify whether
you want to make your offering weekly, every other week (26 times per year)
or monthly. Choose whatever is most convenient for you and your
budget. The minimum amount for a contribution is $5.00. Of
course, you also can make additional cash contributions to St. Timothy
whenever you choose. You can direct your
offerings on the attached form to specific
funds in St. Timothy or to a unified budget. The form also can be used
to direct additional withdrawals for monthly tuition payments to a local
Lutheran elementary school affiliated with St. Timothy.
Withdrawals cannot be made from your account without
your specific approval in writing, made on the
authorization form. The first withdrawal will take place on the
first authorized day after the AAL Member Credit Union Service Organization,
Inc., receives your form. You will receive a confirmation letter
notifying you of the date of your first withdrawal. You can suspend, change or stop your withdrawals, if you wish. Simply call (800) 225-5225, ext. 6220. You also can send an e-mail message to: Giving_Thanks@aal.org. You can send a fax to (888) 772-2259. Or write to:
Giving Thanks
Also, you can use any of these contacts to notify us
of a change in your financial institution or account information.
Since your contribution is made on a specific day of
the week or month that you have chosen, you can make the deduction from your
checking or savings account record at that time. Your bank statement
will list detailed account activity, and St. Timothy will continue to
provide you with your offering statements.
Giving Thanks is serviced by AAL Member Credit Union
Service Organization, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of the AAL Member
Credit Union.
Account information is used exclusively by the AAL
Member Credit Union Service Organization, Inc., solely to process donation
transactions. The amounts of contributions will be kept strictly
confidential, and revealed only to St. Timothy's finance officer or
chairperson. AAL district representatives may be aware of congregation
members who participate in the AAL Giving Thanks program.
Giving Thanks is available to any person who attends
St. Timothy or whose child attends a participating Lutheran elementary or
high school.
No fees are charged to individuals, churches, or
Lutheran schools participating in Giving Thanks.
