It’s
time to register for Davey and Goliath’s Camp Creation
Vacation Bible School at St. Timothy’s Lutheran Church! This
exciting Bible adventure is being offered from June 7 to June
12, running each day between 5:45 and 8:15 p.m.
Set in an exciting camp environment, this
lively VBS program will engage kids in discovering what
Christian stewardship is all about. Through Bible stories
about God’s creativity and love, coupled with a pack full of
hands-on, fun filled activities, kids will learn how to care
for everyone and everything God has made!
At Camp Creation, you’ll hear stories about
Jesus, make cool crafts, learn catchy camp tunes, play wild
and crazy games, do fun science and nature activities,
participate in an exciting mission project, and make lots of
new friends, including Davey and his dog, Goliath, Camp
Creation’s mascots! Each day offers a new Bible story to
explore through loads of fun activities.
This year in VBS we will be taking part in a
project called the Mission Well, which will help provide the
people of southern Bangladesh with safe drinking water.
Through the Mission Well, the VBS campers
will have an opportunity to put into action what they have
been learning all week. Half of the offerings collected will
be added to those collected at other VBS programs in the U.S.,
Canada, and Puerto Rico, to help dig deep-tube wells in
Bangladesh.
Everyone ages 3 and over (adults, too!) is
invited! Please enroll now by filling out a registration form
found in the foyer. We also need more volunteers to staff this
year’s VBS. See the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board to see
where you can help! See you there! |
