2003 Piccolo Spoleto Festival

The St. Timothy's Flute
Choir, accompanied by Ed King and his base violin, performed at the
2003 Piccolo Spoleto festival on Saturday, May 25th. Led by Beth
Alford, Kim Alford, Cathy Almquist, Jenny Johnson, Ed King, and
Christina Warren performed in Marion Square at the "Outdoor Juried
Art Exhibition."
"We're going to play
until we play everything we have", Beth said. And that is what they
did. Ed and the girls played for over an hour to onlookers and
tourists and even managed to receive some gratuities for their
efforts (after the attending parents got it started, of course).
Later that afternoon they took in the sights at the 25th Annual
Piccolo Spoleto festival and then ended the afternoon by going out
to dinner together.
