Volunteer Opportunities at St. Timothy's
| Disaster Response Team |
 Volunteers are needed to make up a
committee that will be developing the policies & procedures for a
Disaster Response Plan for St. Timothy Lutheran Church. Ever since
1989, disasters in South Carolina have been defined by Hurricane Hugo,
but there are many types of disasters that can happen. A well
prepared, implemented disaster response plan can benefit the
congregation and the community. Not having a disaster plan when
one occurs would be another type of disaster in itself. Let's plan
ahead. Please support this new and important ministry for our

| Mission Auxiliary |
 The
Mission Auxiliary is looking for new volunteers to work the
concessions. The Mission Auxiliary
is made up of a group of people who volunteer to work concessions at
sporting and concert events held at the
North Charleston
Coliseum. We receive 10% of the sales from the booth.
The purpose of the Auxiliary is to act as a mission group to
support community services and members of St. Timothy with time
and talent. The Mission Auxiliary raises money to support
worthy charities, provide financial assistance for church
activities and projects not supported by the General Fund, and
provide financial assistance to any church member in an
emergency. At each quarterly meeting the Auxiliary donates
at least 10% of money earned to charities.
