Overview
St. Timothy Mission
Auxiliary is made up of a group of people who volunteer to work
concessions at sporting and concert events held at the
North
Charleston Coliseum. We receive 10% of the sales from the
booth. The purpose of the Auxiliary is to act as a mission
group to support community services and members of St. Timothy with
time and talent. The Mission Auxiliary raises money to support
worthy charities, provide financial assistance for church activities
and projects not supported by the General Fund, and provide
financial assistance to any church member in an emergency. At
each quarterly meeting the Auxiliary donates at least 10% of money
earned to charities.

The Auxiliary has
helped people in emergency need of funds for food or rent whether
they are members of St. Timothy or not.
Each event requires
six workers which includes one manager who is responsible for
counting all of the inventory and making sure the numbers balance at
the end of the evening. The assistant manager is responsible
for counting the money. Those two people usually also act as
cashiers, and we have one more cashier. Three other people
work on the back line preparing food and serving cashiers.
Each night, one teenager, sixteen and up, may work on the back line.
We provide each
worker with a St. Timothy cap which they keep. Workers wear
black pants or long shorts and a shirt provided to you when you
volunteer. Be sure to let us know your shirt size (M, L, XL,
2XL, 3XL, etc...) when you sign up for an event.

The Mission Auxiliary is always looking for new volunteers to work
the concessions. With your help, we can raise a lot of money
for charities. But we cannot do it without volunteers. Most of
the football games are on the weekends so volunteering can be
easy on your schedule. Please be sure to volunteer by signing
up on the
sign-up sheet
on the bulletin board in the church narthex. First-time
